For us, candidate profiling is a bi-product of managing absolute searches and is often a particularly helpful tool when clients are interested in benchmarking and internal pool of candidates against those individuals within the marketplace. We are not trained occupational psychologists , however we are quite often asked to conduct thorough, competancy based interviewing and assessment of internal candidates in conjunction with providing  a number of individuals from other firms.
