The employment market in India has been described as "robust across all sectors and all levels".
According to an article in the Economic Times, the country has witnessed strong levels of hiring in recent months.
Published ahead of the start of the next financial year, the news source quotes managing director and chief executive of Ma Foi Randstad E Balaji, who claimed the current pace of recruitment "is rapid".
"We are at a post-slowdown high," he added, noting appointments have climbed by 15 to 18 per cent during the 12 months to March 2011.
The piece went on to state many other recruitment specialists suggest hiring has reached a high, with strong job creation in sectors such as
IT
, telecoms, fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, mining, education, retail, finance, real estate and
construction
.
In an interview with the same publication, Mr Balaji advised employees to contribute and add value to critical areas of concern within their organization in order to become "a valuable asset".
