Bank staffing bosses may wish to target communications specialists

Those in charge of staffing at the world's largest banks could find they have plenty to gain by looking to recruit workers with communications skills.
Lawrence Gold, a financial expert, said the ability to correspond effectively with customers is the most crucial factor in the financial world.
Responding to a survey by Cable&Wireless Worldwide, which found only 27 per cent of people are happy with the service their bank provides, he noted that firms can do more.
"Communication, to me, is the most important thing ... and if we can improve communication from customers to banks and banks to customers, then the world is a better place," Mr Gold stated.
He said the internet is a vital tool for banks when it comes to communicating with account holders.
The study also found that one in ten people do not expect very much from their bank but, nonetheless, still feel like they are being let down.
